Acceptable Use Policy

Forge is a marketplace for legitimate hardware, biotech, and frontier-science ventures. The categories below are prohibited because they violate U.S. or international law, our payment processor's restrictions (Stripe), or our community standards.

Strictly Prohibited

• Illegal goods or services under U.S. federal or applicable state law
• Firearms, ammunition, weapons, explosives, or accessories that enable rapid discharge
• Controlled substances (including cannabis where federally illegal), prescription drugs without verified pharmacy licensing, anabolic steroids, research chemicals intended for human consumption
• Tobacco, vaping, and e-cigarette products
• Adult content, sexual services, escort services
• Gambling, lotteries, sports betting, fantasy sports with cash prizes
• Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick offerings
• Counterfeit goods, intellectual property infringement, trademark/copyright violations
• Hate speech, harassment, content targeting protected classes
• Content depicting violence against humans or animals
• Cryptocurrency mining-as-a-service, ICOs, NFT offerings that constitute unregistered securities
• Get-out-of-debt services, credit repair, debt collection
• Telemarketing, robocalls, unsolicited messaging
• Travel agencies / booking aggregators acting as merchants of record
• Money transmission, currency exchange, sale of stored value
• Pseudo-pharmaceuticals, miracle cure products, unsubstantiated health claims
• Pseudoscience marketed as proven (e.g., zero-point energy, perpetual motion sold as functional)

Restricted (Allowed With Conditions)

• Hardware involving lasers, RF, or high voltage: must show FCC/UL/CE compliance pathway before going live
• Biotech / medical devices: must disclose FDA classification (Class I/II/III) and not make therapeutic claims absent clearance
• Aerospace / drones: must comply with FAA Part 107 and ITAR if applicable
• Energetic materials: rocketry propellants, battery research samples — require additional KYC and signed handling acknowledgement
• Cosmetics and dietary supplements: require FDA GRAS or equivalent compliance documentation
• Crypto-adjacent hardware: wallets, mining hardware — allowed; staking-as-a-service is NOT

Platform Behavior

• No scraping, automated mass-account creation, or evading rate limits
• No attempts to circumvent escrow, KYC, or accreditation gates
• No misrepresenting yourself, your affiliations, or your campaign
• No using Forge to harass, doxx, or harm other users
• No security probing, vulnerability scanning, or exploitation outside our disclosed bug-bounty channel: security@gnosisforge.com

Enforcement

Violations may result in campaign removal, fund holds, account suspension, account termination, forfeiture of fees, and referral to law enforcement where applicable. We work with Stripe's compliance team and may share necessary information for fraud / AML review.

Reporting

Report violations to abuse@gnosisforge.com. Include the campaign or account URL, a description, and any supporting evidence.
