Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cooling-Off Period
For Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) investments, federal law gives you the right to cancel your commitment up until 48 hours before the campaign's stated deadline. Cancellations are processed automatically and the full amount is returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
2. Campaign Does Not Reach Goal
If a Reg CF campaign does not reach its funding target by the deadline, the offering is cancelled and all funds held in escrow are returned to investors in full. Forge does not retain any platform fee on cancelled offerings.
3. Rewards Campaigns
Contributions to rewards-based crowdfunding campaigns are non-refundable from the platform once the campaign reaches its stated funding goal. Reward delivery is the responsibility of the creator. If a creator fails to ship within 12 months of the stated delivery date and provides no acceptable explanation, contributors may request a refund from escrow via support@gnosisforge.com. Forge reviews these requests and may release escrow funds back to backers at its discretion.
4. Storefront Purchases
Direct storefront purchases (creator products, digital goods, services) are subject to the individual creator's refund policy as displayed on the product page. Digital goods are generally non-refundable once downloaded. Physical goods may be returned within 30 days in unused condition per the creator's policy. Disputes are mediated by Forge but resolution is at the creator's discretion. Stripe's chargeback process is also available to buyers.
5. Subscription Plans
Creator and mentor subscription plans can be cancelled at any time from your account billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rated refunds are issued for partial periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact billing@gnosisforge.com within 30 days.
6. Mentor Sessions
Mentor sessions can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable unless the mentor agrees. No-shows by the mentor receive a full refund automatically.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email support@gnosisforge.com with your account email, the order or campaign ID, and the reason. Most eligible refunds are processed within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method. We will notify you by email when the refund is initiated.
8. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback through your card issuer before contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed. We strongly recommend reaching out to support first — most issues are resolved faster directly than via the dispute process.
